Like this:Ģ – Click at “Inspire me randomly, please.”ģ – Open the controls (top right) and manipulate the “transitionTime” parameter to get your preferred speed.Ĥ – Get into some gnosis and look at the moving Chaos Star with your sigil at the same time.ĥ – Hell yeah. Sigils were invented in the early part of the 20th century by Austin Osman Spare, the grandfather of chaos magick.
This lets you use the full range of your mind to make a desire real. Try this:ġ – Upload a texture (left controls) with a sigil at the exact center of the bitmap. Sigils are an occult method of bypassing the nay-saying conscious mind and implanting desires deep within the unconscious mind. So “Do What The Fuck You Want To” do with it.īesides being just a beautiful play, it can be a quite useful magickal tool. I am using some open source stuff from other people, but everything made by me has the WTFPL license. The proccess of building the app has presented several technical challenges that I will be probably talking in other posts, like publishing from to the Facebook wall. And, of course, you can get random inspiration clicking on the screen to get one, or a infinite sequence clicking at “Inspire me randomly, please.” You can save the Chaos Star and/or publish it on your Facebook wall. It is a Javascript web application where you can input parameters to explore the visual possibilities of “eight arrows in a radial pattern”. It is a perfect definition for me, since it leaves the field open for infinite abstractions.
How can I draw them all in a computer screen? And more: what is a Chaos Star? Wikipedia says: “eight arrows in a radial pattern”. I have visualized the Chaos Star in gazillion different forms. Lots of fun.Īnd then it got connected with my generative art studies. That is how I have been tripping on top of the issue. Remember the greek concept that “it is all made of triangles”? What about “it is all made of chaos stars”? Each particle, unity of materia, being an all-possible-including-possibility chaos star, just waiting for perception to manifest one of its possibilities in the “real world”. Eight directions signifying all possibilities, “including before conceiving”, as A.O.S would say.Īfter hundreds of meditations visualizing and several epiphanies with it, I started to see Chaos Stars everywhere. If your servitor has a form of sentience, I would suggest speaking to them before making changes.Since I got involved with Chaos Magick, the Chaos Star symbol got stuck in my mind.
Tech magic servitors can be written in code or in text in a secure program and activated by the practitioner’s method of choice, and can be altered as desired. Unless an alternate lifestyle is programmed in for them. Most servitors are destroyed/reabsorbed by their practitioners, and as a whole, servitors do not have independence or negative feelings towards being reabsorbed. I designed a drive for my research-oriented servitor to bond with a consenting independent entity in order to learn new things and live a full life. If you would like to give your servitor extra motivations/feelings that guide them to become more independent (with permission first), be sure to plan how they would potentially survive. It is important to note in your design that these additional traits or alternative actions are to be approved by the practitioner first.Īlthough servitors are meant to be dependent on the practitioner, one should consider their lifespan and how you intend to use them.
You can design alternatives for your servitor to decide/enact as their personality is established – if they want a secondary human/creature form for shapeshifting, if they want to be able to learn new abilities/functions, etc. Servitors are intended to be entities that feed off of a practitioner’s energy and exist only as that practitioner demands.
Referenced from “Servitor Magick” by Oliver P. It is suggested to establish these in this particular order, as function/behavior informs shape, and shape informs physical requirements/limitations. Interested in flipbooks about D&D 5e Sly Flourishs Fantastic Adventures he claimed a powerful magic relic from a dead wizard clever goblin raids. As used for tech magic, but can be an outline for general servitor creation.
